Fencers Head to Sacred Heart Duals Sunday

Bouts against Sacred Heart, NYU, Vassar and Penn State are on the docket Sunday for the Princeton fencing teams at Sacred Heart.
Princeton will get underway at 10 a.m. against host Sacred Heart, followed by NYU at 11, Penn State at noon and Vassar at 2 p.m. to close the day.
The competition will be Princeton's last until the Northwestern Dual on the first weekend of February.
Princeton began competing in the event in the 2010-11 season and has done so annually since the 2013-14 campaign. Each team has a 16-1 record in its trips to the Sacred Heart Duals, with the women enjoying a 16-match win streak and the men having won eight in a row.
The Tiger teams opened their season Nov. 5 at the Penn Elite Invitational, where the women's team went 6-0 with Ohio State, Northwestern, Columbia and Notre Dame among its wins.
