Feb. 18 TigerCast: Beverly Nguyen and Devin Cannady
February 18, 2016 | General, Men's Basketball, Women's Swimming and Diving
One team will compete for an Ivy League championship this weekend. Another looks to move into first place following a historic win last Saturday night. Beverly Nguyen (women's swimming and diving) and Devin Cannady (men's basketball) will talk about both on the latest edition of TigerCast.
Nguyen will lead Princeton into this weekend's Ivy League Championships, which go Thursday to Saturday in DeNunzio Pool. She was a freshman when the Tigers won the 2013 title at home, and she has great memories of the historic final session during last year's championship win. She will look for the storybook finish to her career this weekend in a meet streamed live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
Cannady put on a show worthy of the Big Apple last Saturday night in New York City; he was a one-man show late for Princeton, including two three-pointers over the final 15 seconds that helped the Tigers to an overtime win at Columbia. He talks about that incredible game, as well as Friday night's first-place showdown with Ivy-unbeaten Yale, which will be streamed on both the Ivy Digital Network and ESPN3.
