Ross Brenner Named Director of Operations For Men’s Basketball

PRINCETON, N.J. – Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson has announced the addition of Ross Brenner to the Princeton University men's basketball's team's staff as Director of Operations.
Brenner served as the Tigers' video coordinator in 2025-26. Prior to 2025-26, Brenner spent two seasons at Northwestern as a graduate assistant and four at Syracuse as a student manager.
"I'm very pleased to have Ross here with us as our Director of Basketball Operations," said Henderson. "He's a native of New Jersey who has had great experience at both Syracuse and Northwestern. He will be an excellent addition to our program."
As video coordinator, Brenner oversaw all video aspect for the team. He collaborated with the coaching staff on scouting, opponent tendencies and practice development. Brenner also assisted the director of operations with operational and administrative tasks.
"I am thrilled to be a part of the rich tradition that is Princeton men's basketball," said Brenner. "I am beyond grateful to Mitch, the rest of the coaching staff, and all of the Princeton athletics community to be welcomed into the family. I look forward to getting to work and living up to the standard that this program deserves."
Brenner worked under head coach Chris Collins at Northwestern and handles a variety of duties including player development programs and workouts, video and scouting analysis and operations support.
His four seasons at Syracuse were spent under Jim Boheim. His responsibilities grew after being promoted to head student manager before the 202-23 season, assisting in day-to-day functions, including operations assistance, film breakdown, and statistical annotation. Brenner also served as head coach of the Syracuse men's club basketball team for the 2021-22 season and finished with an 11-4 record along with runner-up honors in the 2022 NCBBA North Atlantic Regional Championship.
The Randolph, New Jersey, native graduated from Syracuse in 2023, receiving a bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in sports management. While at Northwestern, Brenner received a master's degree in sports administration.
