Princeton scored four of the game's last five goals to rally past San Diego State 8-5 and win its first game of the spring trip to California.
WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: Barowski Takes Sixth at NCAA Championships
Senior Cecilia Barowski finished sixth in the 800 meters at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala., Saturday, turning in a time of 2:06.81, just 2.13 seconds off the pace.
WOMEN'S HOCKEY: No. 3 Minnesota 6, No. 7 Princeton 2
Molly Contini and Jaimie McDonell scored for Princeton in the NCAA quarterfinals at Minnesota Saturday. McDonell scored 29 seconds in, but Minnesota had the next six before Contini's goal with three seconds left.
SOFTBALL: Cal State Fullerton 4, Princeton 0
Four runs across the fourth and fifth innings were enough for Cal State Fullerton to defeat Princeton 4-0 in the first game of the Tigers' spring trip to California Saturday.
FENCING: Two Tigers Win Titles at NCAA Regional
Sophomore foil Taylor Chin and senior saber Desirae Major won titles at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional Saturday at Moravian College. The Tigers will find out Tuesday how many bids they'll get to the NCAA Championships later this month.
BASEBALL: Princeton 6, Penn State 2
Behind a three-run double from Joseph Flynn and the 12th career home run from Danny Hoy, the Tigers scored their first victory of the season with a 6-2 decision over Penn State.
MEN'S LACROSSE: Maryland 17, Princeton 5
Maryland scored off the opening face-off and never trailed. Princeton was led by Ryan Ambler with two goals and an assist.
