BOSTON, Mass. (3/5/16) - An all-freshman 4x800 relay has qualified for the final of the ECAC Championships after today's preliminary race. The Tigers took second in heat 2 at 8:48.56.
Alie Fordyce led off with a 2:12.754 before handing the baton off to Brighie Leach. Leach recorded a split of 2:12.762 before Jackie Berardo took off on the third leg. She clocked the fastest leg at 2:09.791 before Anna Jurew closed with a 2:13.248.
It was the third fastest time of the afternoon after Connecticut's 8:46.72 and Holy Cross' 8:54.65. Nine total teams will compete in tomorrow's final, which will take place approimaitely at 2:30 p.m.
