Women's Track & Field Holds Annual Team Banquet

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/20/16) - The Princeton women's track & field team held its annual team banquet on Tuesday, May 10 and honored its 14 seniors: Cecilia Barowski, Inka Busack, Emily de La Bruyere, Kathryn Fluehr, Summer Hanson, Birdie Hutton, Kerry Krause, Kathryn Little, Meghan McMullin, Taylor Morgan, Sarah Poter, Sara Ronde, Brielle Rowe and Michelle Tracy.
The MVP in track was awarded to Barowski, while Morgan was awarded the MVP in field. The Most Improved Track Performer was given to Emily de La Bruyere and the Most Improved Field Performer was Kennedy O'Dell. The Outstanding Freshman Award was awarded to Kerri Davidson. The Relay Leg Award was given to Elisa Steele '17.
The Nancy Kraemer Women's Track Award was shared between Cecilai Barowski, Meghan McMullin and Taylor Morgan. It is awarded annually to the member of the Princeton women's track team who in perseverance, dedication and leadership has contributed most to the sport.
Emily de La Bruyere was named the recipients of the Myers Award. It is awarded annually to a member of the Women's track team who have distinguished themselves in scholarship, athletic performance and character.
In its third year, The Diamond Award, in honor of Morton Diamon P86 G16 Princeton track official from 1987-2012. It is awarded annually to that member of the track & field team who outstanding individual championship meet performance surpassed expectations and contributed to the team. This year's recipient was Kerry Krause.
The John H. Chang '60 Award was given for the first time this year. Awarded annually to a member ofhte Princeton track and & field team in recognition for their contribution to their teammates through their generosity, enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to the end. THe first recipient of the award was Elisa Steele.
