Men's Tennis Set to Open Season at Tennis Hall of Fame This Weekend

Tournament Order of Play
A chance to compete on a grass surface will come this weekend for the Princeton men's tennis team, which will send eight players to the Hall of Fame ITA Grass Court Invitational Friday through Sunday in Newport, R.I.
Princeton's players will join those from Virginia, TCU and Michigan. Play will begin at 10 a.m. each day, running through 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. FloTennis will provide video streaming coverage here, and the Tennis Channel will be creating content from the event.
Princeton will send Jonathan Carcione, Tom Colautti, Alex Day, Luke Gamble, Payton Holden, Davey Roberts, Ben Tso and Jimmy Wasserman. Day and Gamble learned Tuesday that they checked in at No. 21 in the ITA's preseason doubles rankings.
Among Michigan's entries are No. 82 Alex Knight and No. 84 Jathan Malik, while TCU is sending No. 56 and No. 99 Jerry Lopez as part of its contingent and No. 69 JC Aragone is among those from Virginia attending. Additionally, TCU's Reese Stalder and Trevor Johnson are ranked 41st in doubles and are scheduled to compete.
Admission to the event at the Tennis Hall of Fame is free.
Following the event, Princeton will be home the next weekend, Sept. 23-25, for the first of two home tournaments, the Ivy-Plus Invitational.
