Fencers Set 2016-17 Slate

Princeton's 2016-17 fencing schedule will feature visits to events hosted by Penn, Sacred Heart, Northwestern and Temple along with the Ivy League Round-Robin, this year hosted by Penn, before the NCAA postseason begins in March.
All of the events are familiar ones on the schedule for the Tigers, who enter 2016-17 looking to keep a streak alive of six consecutive top-four NCAA finishes, the only program in the nation with an active streak of at least that length. Four of the six Tiger men who represented the team at the NCAAs last year return, as do three of the six Princeton women.
The 2016-17 slate will begin Nov. 5 at the Penn Elite Invitational before the Sacred Heart Duals arrive on Dec. 4. The schedule will pick up after the new year, with the Northwestern Duals set for Feb. 4-5, one week before the Ivy League Round-Robin goes to Philadelphia. The Tigers will return to the city two weeks later for the Temple Duals on Feb. 26 before the NCAA postseason begins Mar. 11 with the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional, hosted by Lafayette.
