2016-17 Princeton Women's Golf Schedule
A trip to California and two tournaments in Florida are among the events on the Princeton women's golf team's 2017 spring schedule.
The Tigers will open at the Sacramento State Invitational Mar. 20-21 in the team's first competition in California since a 2009 dual against San Jose State in San Jose and the team's first tournament in the Golden State since the 2005 UC Irvine Anteater Invitational.
The first of two trips to Florida will follow, with the Harvard Invitational taking place April 1-2 in Osprey, Fla., on the state's Gulf Coast. It'll be Princeton's first competitions in Florida since the Miami Hurricane Invitational and a dual against Jacksonville, both in 2012.
Princeton will then return to Beallsville, Md., April 10-11 as the defending champion of the Georgetown Hoya Invitational, which the Tigers won by 13 shots over Georgetown last spring.
Last spring, the Ivy League Championships were outside of New York and New Jersey for the first time, and this spring, the Ivy title will be decided outside of the Ivy League footprint for the first time when it heads to the Orange Tree Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. April 21-23. The Tigers were runners-up by 13 strokes to Harvard at the Ivy tournament last year, with current senior Hana Ku tying for fourth overall to lead Princeton.
Princeton competed in four tournaments this fall with a high finish of second in Michigan State's Mary Fossum Invitational.
