Princeton Comes In At No. 11 In CWPA Varsity Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers still sit at the No. 11 position in the latest Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Polo, the organization announced today.
USC jumps to the top spot in the poll, followed by UCLA, Cal., Stanford and Pacific. Princeton is now the highest ranked team in the Northeast Water Polo Conference at No. 11. St. Francis-Brooklyn (No. 13) and Harvard (No. 14) are right behind the Tigers.
Jordan Colina leads the Tigers with 38 goals and 36 steals while Ryan Wilson is team-leader in points (59) and assists (45). Four different players have scored at least 25 goals for the Tigers. Princeton is 41-21 in sprints this season with Wilson and Colina combining for 29 of those victories. Vojislav Mitrovic is 9-3 in goal with a .569 save percentage and 152 saves in 12 starts for the Tigers.
The No. 11 Princeton Tigers will welcome the Wagner Seahawks to DeNunzio Pool on Thursday night (7 p.m.) in a non-conference tilt that will be streamed on the Ivy League Network.
