Princeton sophomore Maya Walton finished runner-up at the Yale Women's Intercollegiate as the 54-hole tournament was shortened to 36 by Sunday's rain.
The University of Stirling, from Scotland, won both the team title and medalist honors, finishing at +12 to put 10 strokes between them and second-place Lamar and with Chloe Goadby carding -2 to finish three strokes in front of Walton and Stirling teammate Hazel MacGarvie. As a team, Princeton finished ninth in the 15-team field.
It's the second consecutive tournament that Walton has led the Tigers with the sophomore, an NCAA Championships individual qualifier a year ago, tying for third at the Princeton Invitational last weekend.
Princeton's results from Yale are below and complete results are available via BirdieFire here. The Tigers will conclude the fall season in Hawaii at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
