Holmes Earns Suburban Transit GoPrincetonTigers Athlete of the Week Honors

Katharine Holmes went 18-0 at the Ivy League round-robin to earn first-team All-Ivy honors for the third time in her career. Even more important, she helped deliver the Princeton women's fencing team its seventh Ivy title in eight years, including scoring the winning touch in a winner-take-all bout against Columbia in Sunday's final match.
For her efforts, Holmes has also been named the Suburban Transit GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week.
Holmes, a senior épée, four-time All-Ivy honoree and a 2016 Olympian, is a three-time All-America who has now helped Princeton win an Ivy League championship in each of her four seasons with the team. The Tigers will have one more regular-season date of competition, Feb. 26 at the Temple Duals, before the postseason begins with the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional at Lafayette on Mar. 11 and continues with the NCAA Championships beginning Mar. 23 in Indianapolis.
