Dudas Wins Third Straight Ivy League Coach of the Year Honor

All three times the Ivy League women's fencing Coach of the Year honor has been awarded, Princeton's Zoltan Dudas has won. That includes this year, with Princeton winning its seventh title in eight seasons.
Princeton swept through the Ivy League round-robin last weekend in Philadelphia with a 6-0 record, the first time the Tigers went unbeaten since 2014, when Princeton concluded a run of five consecutive Ivy League round-robins without a loss.
Princeton's first team All-Ivy Leaguers included saber Maia Chamberlain and épées Katharine Holmes and Anna Van Brummen, and épée Sage Palmedo earned second-team All-Ivy honors. Holmes finished 18-0 and Van Brummen, who went 17-1, became Princeton's first female four-time first-team All-Ivy League honoree in program history.
The Tigers, 28-0, will compete at the Temple Duals Feb. 26 before moving on to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional at Lafayette Mar. 11.
