Women's Tennis Team Sweeps Rutgers

The winning streak stands at 21 for the Princeton women's tennis team against Rutgers after a 7-0 Tiger win Wednesday night in Jadwin Gym.
Princeton (5-4) took the doubles point by getting wins from the 39th-ranked pair of Caroline Joyce and Nicole Kalhorn at first and Sivan Krems and Katrine Steffensen at second before Rutgers (2-3) took the match on three, and the Tigers went on to sweep the singles contests. Steffensen on one, Gaby Pollner on six and Tiffany Chen on three picked up the wins to get Princeton to four points, and Kalhorn on four, Clare McKee on five and Krems on two completed the sweep.
The match was Princeton's last at home before Ivy League play begins in April. The Tigers will be away from competition this weekend before heading to Xavier next Saturday at 3 p.m. and Kentucky next Sunday at noon.
