Temple Duals Up Next for Fencing Teams in Regular-Season Finale
February 21, 2017 | Men's Fencing, Women's Fencing
The final regular-season event for the Princeton fencing teams is Sunday, when the Tigers head to Philadelphia for the Temple Duals.
After being away from competition last weekend, Princeton's last event was also in Philadelphia as the Tigers won the Ivy League championship on both the men's and women's sides two weekends ago at Penn.
This weekend will feature rematches against Brown and Penn, along with contests against Stevens for the men and Temple for the women, and Penn State and St. John's for both. That list includes the nation's third- (Penn State), fifth- (Penn) and seventh- (St. John's) ranked teams for the sixth-ranked Tiger men, and fourth- (Penn), fifth- (Penn State) and seventh- (Temple) ranked teams for the top-ranked women. All the rankings are as of the Feb. 10 CollegeFencing360 polls.
Results will be posted here during the event.
Princeton has competed at the Temple Duals since 2011, and the women's team's active 35-match dual win streak includes the team's 5-0 finish at the Temple Duals a year ago.
