Completing Spring Trip Sweep, Women's Tennis Team Tops San Diego State

Completing its tour of Southern California, the Princeton women's tennis team will return home with a spring break sweep, adding Friday's 5-2 win at San Diego State to its wins over Cal State Northridge and San Diego earlier in the week.
Princeton got the doubles point with wins from Sivan Krems and Gaby Pollner on court two and Clare McKee and Katrine Steffensen on court three after a loss on court one, and the first three singles matches to finish went Princeton's way to find the clinching fourth point. McKee, Caroline Joyce and Nicole Kalhorn had the first three singles victories before Katrine Steffensen added one at first singles on the way to the 5-2 final.
Princeton will open Ivy League play April 1 at Penn before playing its first home Ivy match April 7 against Cornell.
Order of finish: Doubles: 1, 3, 2; Singles: 6, 5, 4, 1, 2, 3
