Women's Golf Team Ties Program Record in Winning Harvard Invitational

Atop a field that included six of the seven Ivy League women's golf programs, Princeton won the Harvard Invitational by four strokes Sunday over Boston University on The Oaks Club's Heron Course in Osprey, Fla.
The title comes three days short of a year since the team's last title, when the Tigers won the Georgetown Hoya Invitational. That'll be Princeton's next tournament, beginning April 10 in Maryland.
Princeton's three-round score of 894 tied the program record for a low three-round score, a number Princeton achieved in the 2015 Yale Women's Intercollegiate, and it was the first time in program history that Princeton went sub-300 in each round of a three-round tournament. This weekend's event was a par 72, while the Yale tournament last season was a par 71.Â
Amber Wang led the Tigers, finishing second overall at 4-over, five shots behind medalist Michelle Xie at -1. Hana Ku, at +7, made it two Tigers in the top five.
