In what will be the team's last event before the Ivy League Championship begins April 21, the Princeton women's golf team will head to the Georgetown Hoya Invitational at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md., for 54 holes Monday and Tuesday.
Four Ivies will be in the field, with Columbia, Penn and Yale joining the Tigers. Boston University, Bucknell, Georgetown, Monmouth, Richmond, Rollins, Seton Hall, South Florida, St. John's, Stephen F. Austin and Towson will compete alongside the four Ivies.
Amber Wang, Tiana Lau, Hana Ku, Annie Kong and Maya Walton will represent the Tigers.
Princeton, which won the Harvard Invitational last weekend in Florida, enters as the defending champion of the Georgetown tournament, finishing 13 strokes ahead of the Hoyas. Anna Kim, a senior at St. John's a year ago, won the tournament at +7 by 10 strokes ahead of a group of three players that included Princeton's Hana Ku, now a senior, the graduated Alex Wong and Hoya returner Jacquelyn Eleey.Â
Play will begin both Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. on the par-72, 6,127-yard course with two rounds set for Monday and one for Tuesday.
