Sivan Krems, little more than a month after earning her sociology degree from Princeton, also earned two silver medals at the 2017 Maccabiah Games in Israel.
Krems was the silver medalist in both singles and doubles. Seeded sixth in the singles draw, she won three matches to reach the final, where she fell to her doubles teammate, top-seeded Mia Rabinowitz, a New Jerseyan set to play at Illinois. Krems opened with a straight-set win over her Israeli opponent before defeating the tournament's second seed in three sets in the quarterfinals and picking up a three-set win over Alexa Meyer Finkelstein, representing Mexico and set to play for the University of San Francisco, in the semis.
Headed back to the U.S., Krems is set to begin her post-Princeton career in the finance world with BlackRock.
