Quinn, Tigers Take Runner-Up by Thinnest of Margins at Quechee

Sophomore Evan Quinn and the Princeton men's golf team each took runner-up honors at the Dartmouth-hosted Quechee Invitational, and it couldn't have been any closer.

Drexel turned in a 12-under 276 to card the two-round tournament's lowest round by six strokes over Princeton's Sunday round, finishing at -6. Princeton finished at -5, 15 strokes clear of third-place Harvard and the best among the five Ivies in the field.

Quinn entered a playoff with Drexel's Aaron Fricke after each tied atop the leaderboard after 36 holes at -2. The pair headed to the ninth hole for a playoff, and a birdie for Fricke netted the Dragon senior medalist honors.
