Soccer Teams Earn United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards
October 04, 2018 | Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer
Both Princeton soccer teams have earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards, the United Soccer Coaches organization announced Thursday.
For the women's team, it's the 12th time since 2004 that the team has achieved the honor and the 11th season in a row. For the Tiger men, it's the eighth time the program has been on the list and the seventh year in a row.
Princeton was one of 191 schools, across every collegiate level, to qualify both their men's and women's teams. Teams needed to have at least a 3.0 collective GPA in the 2017-18 school year to be eligible.
The list of honorees can be found here.
Both Princeton teams will host Brown Saturday at the Class of 1952 Stadium with the women at 5 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m. Admission is free and the games will be video streamed on ESPN+.
