2026 Schedule
Eight home games and visits to major-conference opponents highlight the newly announced 2026 schedule for the reigning Ivy League champion Princeton women's soccer team.
"Every season, our objective as a staff is to provide our players with a competitive non-conference schedule that prepares us for the daunting gauntlet of Ivy League games," Princeton head coach Sean Driscoll said. "Associate Head Coach Mike Poller works diligently to navigate the complexities of the RPI and secure top-level opponents both at home and on the road. This fall, we will have the opportunity to compete against teams from three Power 4 conferences — Big 12, ACC, and Big Ten — as well as talented programs from the Big East, Sun Belt, and Patriot League. Four of those teams are consistent NCAA tournament participants, and the majority have participated in their respective conference championships the past couple of years. The 2026 schedule presents our student-athletes with both a significant challenge and a tremendous opportunity to play against outstanding programs for which we have the utmost respect."
Within the first five games of the season, Princeton will see two opponents who advanced in the 2025 NCAA tournament, hosting West Virginia on Aug. 27 and visiting Ohio State, a quarterfinal team last year, on Sept. 3.
Princeton will open the season at home on Aug. 20, hosting Loyola (Md.), with WVU, James Madison (Aug. 30), and Colgate (Sept. 10) as the team's non-conference home games. Harvard (Sept. 26), Penn (Oct. 10), Dartmouth (Oct. 24) and Brown (Nov. 7) are the home Ivy League games. The 2026 Ivy League Tournament will be held Nov. 12 and 15 at the home field of the highest seed.
Princeton is able to return the scorers of 21 of the team's 24 goals from the 2025 season and nine of the 12 goal scorers, led by rising junior Alexandra Barry, who had five goals in 2025. Cecilia Cerone and Sydney Romano, the two keepers who split time last season, are able to return as well.
