Women's Squash Sweeps Amherst, Will Face Williams Saturday

The third-ranked Princeton women's squash team took care of business Friday night in the first half of a two-match roadtrip in Massachusetts. The Tigers swept #16 Amherst 9-0, and they will now set themselves for a Saturday night showdown at Williams.
Head coach Gail Ramsay was able to rest a handful of starters while also getting others their first top-9 experience of the season. Freshman Emily Rose picked up her first collegiate win with a 3-0 victory at #6, while co-captains Izzy Hirshberg (#5) and Kate Feeley (#8) added victories of their own. Sophomore Grace Doyle handled the #1 spot in impressive fashion, dropping only 13 points to Rachel Ang. Classmate Emme Leonard was equally impressive at #2, as she dropped only 12 points to Caroline Conway.
Both Morgan Steelman and Andrea Toth were pushed to a fourth game, but each was impressive in the finale to secure the sweep.
