Kuffner Captures ECAC Hockey Player of the Week

Princeton senior Ryan Kuffner was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week after leading the nation in points this weekend.
Kuffner had six points in two games, averaging 2.00 goals per game and 1.00 assist per game as Princeton went 1-0-1 to open ECAC Hockey play on the road.
On Friday he scored two goals and one assist including the game-winning goal in a 7-1 win at Dartmouth. On Saturday he had another two goals and an assist in a 4-4 draw with the Crimson. He finished a +3 and converted shots on goal to goals at a clip of 40 percent.
Views of his two power-play goals at Harvard exceeded 17,000 on Princeton hockey twitter @princetonhockey as on Monday morning.
Princeton hosts Union and Rensselaer in the home opener this weekend at Hobey Baker Rink. The Dutchmen, who had their season ended by the Tigers in the ECAC Quarterfinals last year, visit Princeton on Friday, Nov. 9, while Rensselaer who is off to a 3-1 start in league play is here Saturday, Nov. 10. Both games are at 7 p.m. Get your tickets now!
