Schrage Falls in ITA Fall Nationals Opener; Consolation Match Thursday

UCLA freshman Elysia Bolton defeated Tiger sophomore Stephanie Schrage 6-3, 6-2 Wednesday in the first round of the ITA Fall Nationals in Surprise, Ariz.
Schrage will move on to the consolation draw to face VCU's Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado in the consolation round of 32. Schrage's match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. MT/6 p.m. ET.

Last year, Schrage qualified the event and followed up a first-round loss with a win in the consolation round of 32 before her run ended in the consolation round of 16.
