Princeton Storms Back For Thrilling 65-57 Victory Over Davidson

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers used a 16-6 run to finish off the Davidson Wildcats, 65-57, at Jadwin Gym on Sunday afternoon.

Carlie Littlefield matched her personal high with 22 points and eight rebounds. She added three assists, two steals and a block. Gabrielle Rush snagged her second career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Sydney Jordan recorded 14 points, tied for her career high and posted three steals. Sydney Boyer registered seven points and eight rebounds (a personal high) in the win.

After a trey from Grace Stone tied the contest at eight-all, Davidson scored the next five points to take the lead, 13-8. A layup from Jordan got the Tigers within one, 13-12, as the second quarter got underway.

Princeton improves to 2-7 overall while Davidson dropped to 4-4 this season. The Tigers welcome the Quinnipiac Bobcats to Jadwin next Saturday (Dec. 8). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Quinnipiac reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
