Men Sweep, Women Take Three of Five at Temple Duals

In their final competition before the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional March 10 at Lafayette, the Princeton fencing teams combined to take eight of 10 bouts at the Temple Duals Saturday in Philadelphia.
The sixth-ranked Tiger men went 5 for 5, including defeating fifth-ranked Penn State and seventh-ranked Penn, both 14-13. Princeton's men closed the day by adding a 19-8 win over eighth-ranked St. John's. The fifth-ranked Tiger women beat seventh-ranked Temple 14-13, and the team's two losses came to third-ranked Penn State, 16-11, and eighth-ranked Penn, 14-13.
Kasia Nixon led the Princeton women at 13-2, while Sam Barmann was a perfect 12-0 for the Tiger men, Thomas Dudey went 12-3 and Daniel Kwak went 13-2.
