Tigers to Head to Florida for Spring Trip Tournament

In the final tournament before the Princeton Invitational next month, the Princeton men's golf team will head to Florida to compete in the George Mason-hosted Mission Inn Spring Spectacular held at the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., outside Orlando.

Princeton will have two teams in the field of 13 schools, which includes Bethune Cookman, Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, Hofstra, Indiana, Lehigh, Murray State, Presbyterian, TCU, Toledo, USC Upstate and host George Mason.

Live scoring will be available via Golfstat here for the three-round, two-day event which will begin Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start for 36 holes and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. for another shotgun start for 18 holes on the par-72, 6,834-yard course.

The tournament is the program's first in Florida since the 2005 Marshall-hosted El Diablo Intercollegiate in Citrus Springs, Fla., northwest of Orlando. Following the event, Princeton will be away from competition for two weekends before hosting the annual Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club April 7-8.
