Ben Halford Inks with Fayetteville Marksmen

The Fayetteville Marksmen of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) has announced the signing of Princeton University senior Ben Halford.

Halford just finished this Princeton career this past weekend at the NCAA Tournament as the Tigers claimed the ECAC Hockey championship. This season, the Lenox, Mass., native appeared in nine games, including against No. 5 Ohio State at the NCAAs on Saturday. He posted a 1-2 record with a 2.68 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.

Twice named the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team, Halford appeared in 19 games in his career recording a 2.95 GAA and a .911 save percentage. His most notable performance was a 43-save victory at No. 7 Bemidji State in 2016-17.
