Tigers to Visit Cornell, Host Columbia as Ivy Season Continues

Ranked 46th in the nation by the ITA, the Princeton women's tennis team will go to Cornell Friday and host Columbia Sunday, both at 1 p.m., as the Ivy League season continues.
Sunday's home match will be indoors in Jadwin Gym and will be streamed on the Ivy League Network. Updates will be available on Twitter at @PrincetonTennis.
Last weekend, Princeton (13-3, 1-0 Ivy) opened the Ivy slate at home against Penn with a 5-2 win, bouncing back from two losses to end the spring trip to Texas. Along with the team ranking, the Tigers count junior Nicole Kalhorn and rookie Stephanie Schrage as the 89th-ranked doubles team in the country.
Cornell (6-8, 0-1) fell 6-1 to Columbia last weekend to open Ivy play. The Big Red won both meetings last season, once in the ECAC tournament as well as the Ivy regular-season meeting, since Princeton's last win over Cornell, two seasons ago in Ithaca.
Columbia (9-5, 1-0) has won three in a row, including the Ivy opener over Cornell last weekend. Princeton has won the last three over the Lions since Columbia's last victory in 2015 in New York. Princeton is 16-0 all-time against the Lions in Princeton.
Following the weekend, the Tigers will head to New England, going to Yale and Brown next Saturday and Sunday.
