2018 Princeton Men's Soccer Schedule
The Princeton men's soccer team will face 10 non-conference opponents and hosts eight teams on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium during the 2018 season.
The Tigers open the season with a road swing through the Midwest facing Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for the second consecutive year and taking on Bradley in the first meeting between the two squads. A stop at Delaware concludes the three-game stretch on the road before the Tigers hosts Monmouth in the home opener on Sept. 8. Two more home games follow with Temple in town on Sept. 12 and Boston University on Sept. 15. A quick trip down 206 has Princeton at Rider on Sept. 19 before returning back to town for another three-game home set. Loyola on Sept. 25 will be the final match before the Ivy League season gets underway four days later when Princeton hosts Dartmouth on Sept. 29 and then Brown on Oct. 6. Two familiar non-conference games will sandwich the tilt at Columbia on Oct. 13. First is St. John's on the road on Oct. 9 and Drexel in Philadelphia on Oct. 16. Harvard will be in town on Oct. 20, one week before an away game at Cornell on Oct. 27. Penn will cap off the home slate on Nov. 3 before the squad concludes the regular-season at Yale on Nov. 10.
Princeton returns 72 percent of its scoring production from the 2017 season including leading scorer all-Ivy League selection Jeremy Colvin. Defenders Richard Wolf and Henry Martin, both 2017 all-Ivy League selections return as does Bobby Hickson, who collected five points as a defender. Jacob Schachner, who was second in the Ivy League in saves per game en route to claiming all-Ivy honors, is back for his junior season. In addition, Princeton brings in eight newcomers.
Admission for all home games is free.
