Men's Hockey Team Announces Incoming Class of 2022

Princeton men's hockey head coach of Ron Fogarty and his coaching staff of Brad Dexter and Stavros Paskaris are pleased to announce the incoming Class of 2022, that will join the reigning ECAC Hockey championship team in the fall.

"Being a member of a championship team was a key component during the recruitment process for this class," Fogarty said. "We continue to bring in top student-athletes that have the drive to be engaged in the classroom and the desire to get better every day on the ice. Our staff looks to the Class of 2022 to contribute to our standard of excellence both on and off the ice."

Corey Andonovski, 6-1/195, Forward, Uxbridge, Ont./Chilliwack Chiefs (BCHL)
The MVP of the RBC Cup Championship game, Andonovski helped the Chilliwack Chiefs win the RBC Cup at the National Junior A Hockey Championship. He also helped Team Canada West win the gold medal at the World Junior A Challenge this year. During the regular-season, Andonovski scored 16 goals and added 22 assists in 55 games. At the RBC Cup he had five points in five games. He was a finalist for the BCHL's Rookie of the Year. Andonovski played four years of high school hockey for St. Andrew's College. He was an assistant captain in 2016-17 when the team won its second straight Conference of Independent Schools Athletics Association (CISAA) championship. The Saints were also the 2016 National Independent School Invitational Hockey Championship (NISIC) champions. He played in 145 regular-season games at St. Andrew's, Andonoski collected 164 points, scoring 76 goals and 88 assists.

A 2017 graduate of St. Andrew's College, Andonovski also played lacrosse.

Andonovski was ranked #184 in the 2017 NHL Central Scouting final rankings.

Finn Evans, 6-4/185, Forward, Toronto, Ont./Ottawa Jr. Senators (CCHL)
A 2017 graduate of St. Michael's College School, Evans spent the last season as a member of the Ottawa Jr. Senators in the CCHL. The team captured the Bogart Cup as CCHL champions and were semifinalists in the RBC Cup as he led the team in scoring. Evans was named the MVP of the Fred Page Cup, guiding Ottawa to the championship title. In his one season with Ottawa he scored 14 goals and 14 assists in 34 regular-season games while adding eight goals and three assists in 18 playoff appearances.

Evans played in the CJHL Top Prospect Game in 2017-18 and was a two-time member of Team Canada East U19 – winning the silver medal in 2016-17 and captaining the 2017-18 team.

A member of the St. Michael's Buzzers (OJHL) from 2015-17, Evans was the recipient of the Buzzers' 2016-17 Top Prospect Award, was named OJHL first-team All-Prospect, and was named Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) Top Prospect Forward.

Evans played two seasons for his high school squad, St. Michael's College, helping the team to back-to-back Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CISAA) Championships and an undefeated season in 2014-15, a year before being tabbed team captain.

Evans was also a key member of the St. Michael's College championship track & field and cross country teams.

Evans was ranked #129 in the 2017 NHL Central Scouting final rankings

Jay Forget, 6-1/185, Goalie, Mascouche, Que./Carleton Place Canadiens (CCHL)
A member of the Carleton Place Canadiens (CHHL) in 2017-18, Forget was named a third-team all-star and all-academic second team. He led the CCHL in four statistical categories including: goals against average (1.48), save percentage (.936), wins (35) and shutouts (7). He was named the league's Goalie of the Month in February and helped the Canadiens to the regular-season championship and league championship finals. Forget also played two years at Tabor Academy, where he graduated in 2017. The Seawolves were the 2016 Travis Roy Cup champions and the Tabor Academy Tournament Champions in 2017.

Matt Kellenberger, 6-1/185, Defender, Toronto, Ont./Oakville Blades (OJHL)
Ranked #175 in the latest NHL Central Scouting List in 2018 and #74 in 2017, Kellenberger spent the last two years with the Oakville Blades (OJHL). He was assistant captain in 2017-18 when he was the top scorer on the team. Kellenberger was named an OJHL first-team all-star, the OJHL's Best Defenseman, and was tabbed a finalist for the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top Defenseman. In his first year with Oakville, he was named the team's Rookie of the Year and was the runner-up for the OJHL Rookie of the Year. He was also named the runner-up for the OJHL Top Prospect Award and earned the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) Top Prospect Defenseman Award. Kellenberger was named the MVP of the CJHL Prospects Game in 2017 as a member of Team East and was on the 2017 World Junior A Challenge Team Canada East.

Prior to joining Oakville, Kellenberger played for the Toronto Nationals organization from 2008-16.

Kellenberger played for his high school St. Michael's College, leading the Double Blues to the 2015 Conference of Independent Schools Athletics Association (CISAA) Jr. Boys DI Championship. A 2017 graduate of St. Michael's College, Kellenberger also played badminton and golf.

Christian O'Neill, 5-11/175, Forward, Westwood, Mass./Omaha Lancers (USHL)
O'Neill spent the 2017-18 season with the Omaha Lancers (USHL). The team was ranked second in the league in points, while being the runner-up for the Anderson Cup, earning a bye in the Clark Cup Playoffs and were West Division Quarterfinalists. In 60 games, O'Neill net 14 goals and 33 assists. His 47 points ranked him 24th in the USHL regular-season scoring list.
Prior to joining the Lancers, O'Neill played two seasons for the Cape Cod Whalers, winning the 2015 Massachusetts state championship. He was a member of Team East at the 2015 Fall Prep League and played with the East Coast Wizards in 2013-14.

O'Neill played three seasons for Belmont Hill School. In 92 games, he scored 37 goals and 53 assists. The team was the 2015 New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) runner-up, 2016 NEPSAC semifinalists and 2017 NEPSAC Elite Eight playoff team as the No. 5 seed. O'Neill was team captain and was named the team MVP in 2017, while he earned all-New England Second-Team East honors. He was a three-time Independent School League (ISL) all-league honoree.

A 2017 graduate of Belmont Hill, O'Neill was also a three-year letterwinner on the lacrosse team. The team won the ISL Lacrosse Championship all three years. He was named team MVP in 2017, while earning all-ISL honors in both 2017 and 2016.

Sami Pharaon, 5-10/170, Defenseman, North Vancouver, B.C./Alberni Valley Bulldogs (BCHL)
Pharaon spent the past season with Alberni Valley Bulldogs (BCHL). In 55 games, he had 18 points and 52 penalty minutes. A 2017 graduate of Albany Academy, Pharaon also played for the Cadets hockey team. He collected 12 points in 35 games as Albany Academy finished second in the 2017 Large School division.

Mike Ufberg, 5-9/180, Defenseman, Richboro, Pa./Vernon Vipers (BCHL)
A two-year member of the Vernon Vipers (BCHL), Ufberg was named the 2018 Team Defenseman of the Year and was tabbed a second-team All-Star. In his first year, he claimed Team Rookie of the Year honors and was named to the all-rookie team as the Vipers took second place in the Interior Conference. In 137 games with Vernon, Ufberg tallied 14 goals and 88 assists for 102 points.

Ufberg spent the 2015-16 season with the North Jersey Avalanche organization and also played in the ECEL U18 Tournament the New Jersey Rockets U18 and was on Team Red at the USA-S17.

He is a 2016 graduate of Council Rock High School South.
