Five Ivy Champion Tigers Earn WGCA Scholars Honor
July 03, 2018 | Women's Golf
Five members of the Ivy League champion 2017-18 Princeton women's golf team earned WGCA All-American Scholars honors, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
The five honorees tied Yale for the most in the league. All seven league teams had at least two honorees, and 24 Ivy Leaguers were recognized among the 1,011 across all three NCAA divisions.
Tenley Shield '18, rising seniors Amanda Brown, Amber Wang and Tiana Lau, and rising junior Alison Chang were Princeton's honorees. Shield, Wang and Lau were in Princeton's five when the Tigers made it back-to-back Ivy League championships in April with a playoff win over Harvard.
The complete list of WGCAÂ honorees can be found here.Â
