UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Princeton Tigers' contest vs. the Penn State Nittany Lions on November 18th has been set for a 2 p.m. tip-off and will televised nationally on the Big Ten Network.
Â
It's the first regular season nationally televised game for Princeton since last December's contest vs. Rutgers.
Â
Princeton and Penn State have never faced off against each other. The Nittany Lions went 16-16 last year and went to the Women's Invitational Tournament. A Big Ten powerhouse, the Lions have been to the NCAA Tournament 25 times, last appearing in 2014.
Â
The Tigers claimed the 2018 Ivy League tournament championship in dominating fashion, earning the Ivy League's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. This marked Princeton's seventh trip to the NCAA tournament in the past nine seasons. The 2018-19 season gets underway at Rider on Nov. 6.
