Fall Finale to Send Women's Golf Team to Yale
October 02, 2019 | Women's Golf
The final tournament of the fall season will send the Princeton women's golf team to New Haven for the Yale Invitational Friday through Sunday.
The field will include five of the seven Ivy programs a week after the Tigers finished atop the Ivies at the Princeton Invitational at Springdale. The Tigers will share the course this weekend with Columbia, Harvard, Penn and Yale, as well as Boston College, Boston University, Charlotte, Delaware, Georgetown, Hartford, Quinnipiac, Stirling (Scotland) and Xavier.
Maya Walton, Grace Ni, Tiffany Kong, Sophie Siminoff and Emma Zhao will be the Tiger five with Alison Chang competing as an individual.
The teams will play one round each day with the first tee times at 8:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and a 9 a.m. shotgun start Sunday on the par-71, 6,099-yard Course at Yale. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat here.
It'll be the fourth tournament of the fall for the Tigers, who have posted top-10 finishes at each of the first three, including those hosted by William & Mary, Michigan State and Princeton's own home invitational.
