Poling Falls in Qualification Finals at ITF M25 Event in Florida

Karl Poling's bid for a spot in the main draw at the ITF M25 event in Naples, Fla., ended one win short Tuesday, as the Tiger sophomore fell to Spain's Alejandro Moro Canas 6-2, 6-1.
Despite being unseeded, Poling, ranked 73rd nationally by the ITA, beat fourth-seeded Alexander Knight in the first round and got past Argentina's Agustin Maria Gascia in the second round to set up Tuesday's match.
Princeton's next event on the fall slate is the Rolston/Neufeld Invitational hosted by SMU beginning Friday.
