Tigers Take Sixth at Paul Short Run

Princeton finished sixth at the Paul Short Women's Gold 6k Race on Saturday on the Goodman Course.
Junior Melia Chittenden was the top Tiger for the third consecutive meet, taking eighth place with a time of 20:01.29. The final five scorers came in as a pack with freshman Maggie Liebiech leading the group in 49th place at 20:53.36, and freshman Abby Loveys clocked 20:54.88 for 51st. Senior Madeleine Sumner and junior Sophie Cantine rounded out the scoring in 55th and 57th places, with times of 20:56.31 and 20:56.91.
The Tigers will compete at the Penn State National Open next Friday in Happy Valley, a day before hosting the Princeton Invitational on West Windsor Course.
