Men's Hockey Team Draws No. 16 St. Cloud to Finish Unbeaten Opening Weekend

Andonovski had five goals as a freshman with one multi-goal game, scoring twice against Maine on Dec. 29, 2018. He's already up to four this season, scoring once in Friday night's 5-3 win over St. Cloud and then adding his first career three-goal game Saturday night.
Senior Jackson Cressey, Princeton's leading returning scorer from a year ago (six goals, 17 assists), had a goal and three helpers to up his season total to two goals and four assists.
A night after Princeton saw five players score its five goals and eight players get its eight assists, sharing in the points was the theme again for the Tigers, with Luke Keenan adding a goal to join Cressey and Andonovski's hat trick, and seven players split the 10 assists, with Christian O'Neill's two joining Cressey's three with multi-assist nights.
After Princeton opened the scoring in Friday night's win, the Huskies did so in the rematch, with Sam Hentges scoring 15 minutes into the game to help give the Huskies a 1-0 lead at the first intermission.Â
The second period saw six goals, including four in a span of 2:07 late in the frame. Princeton opened the scoring with Liam Gorman finding Cressey with the Tigers shorthanded.

Less than five minutes later, the Tigers were on top, with O'Neill finding Andonovski.

It stayed 2-1 Tigers until the late-period goal flurry that saw St. Cloud score goals 80 seconds apart to take a 3-2 lead. Princeton tied it back up 20 seconds after St. Cloud retook the lead, with Keenan firing it home.

Just 27 seconds later, Andonovski had his second, and Princeton was back on top, taking a 4-3 lead into the third period.

Princeton held the 4-3 lead until St. Cloud scored its third power-play goal of the game eight and a half minutes into the period. The Huskies went up 5-4 little more than three minutes later, just eight minutes and change from splitting the series.
Andonovski had his hat trick on a power play with more than six minutes to go to tie it back up, and that's where it finished to give Princeton a win and a tie on the opening weekend.
