No. 19 Princeton Seeks Another NWPC Crown This Weekend

- No.19 Princeton is 15-14 this season and sits with the No. 2 seed in the Northeast Water Polo Conference Tournament.
- The Tigers will take on No. 19 Brown or Iona on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the semifinals of the conference tournament. Princeton and Brown split the two regular season matchups, both winning at home. The Tigers are 24-12 all-time against the Bears. Head coach Dustin Litvak's group swept Iona this season.
- The winner of this contest takes on the winner of the No. 9 Harvard and St. Francis-Brooklyn on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in the NWPC Championship Game. The losers of these meetings will play in the third-place game on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
- Princeton had four Northeast Water Polo Conference All-Conference players. Mitchell Cooper was selected to the first team while Antonio Knez, Yurian Quinones and Keller Maloney earned second team accolades.
- Cooper was one of two players on the Tigers with at least 40 goals, registering 41 tallies this season. He secured 30 helpers, 13 drawn ejections and 12 steals, eight blocks and eight sprint wins.
- Knez led the squad with 10 victories, picking up a .607 save percentage.
- Quinones paced the offense with 46 goals and 73 points in 2019. The freshman showed an all-around game with 19 steals, 19 drawn ejections and a team-best 33 sprint victories.
- Maloney was tied for second on the Tigers, corralling 39 goals, 32 assists, in points with 71. He nabbed 42 drawn ejections and 32 steals as well and was the only player on the team with at least 30 goals, 30 assists, 30 steals and 30 drawn ejections.
