Tigers to Welcome Pro Women's Hockey Players to Baker for Sunday Exhibition

With a week off from ECAC Hockey League competition, the Princeton women's hockey team is set to welcome members of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association to Baker Rink for a Sunday exhibition game set to begin at 6 p.m.

The roster of PWHPA players includes at least one name sure to be familiar to Tiger hockey fans, plus plenty more who have skated at Baker Rink in ECAC play. Kelsey Koelzer '17, the 2016 Ivy League Player of the Year, 2016 ECAC Hockey League Defender of the Year and three-time first-team All-Ivy honoree, is among the PWHPA players slated to compete and one of nine ECAC Hockey League alumnae on the roster.

Admission to the event is free.

The Tigers will resume ECAC play Dec. 6 at Baker Rink with a visit from Cornell. Princeton will enter that game tops in the league with 14 points, three in front of the Big Red in what is set to be a national top-five battle as Cornell is third by both the USCHO and USA Hockey and Princeton is fifth in both.
