November 04, 2019 | Men's Ice Hockey
Princeton sophomore Corey Andonovski had his first career-hat trick as part of a four-goal weekend that netted the Tiger men's hockey team a win and a tie at No. 16 St. Cloud over the weekend.
For his efforts, Andonovski has been named the ECACÂ Player of the Week and the NCAA First Star of the Week.
Andonovski had Princeton's first goal in a 5-3 win Friday night while adding an assist on a Jackson Cressey goal that made it 3-1. The next night, Andonovski, who had five goals as a freshman with one two-goal game, had Princeton's second goal, putting the Tigers up 2-1 in the second period, and added the team's fourth and fifth goals, putting Princeton up 4-3 and then tying the game at 5-5 with six-plus minutes to play.
The Tigers will head back out on the road this weekend, opening ECAC Hockey play at Harvard Friday and Dartmouth Saturday.
