Howard of Women’s Tennis Has Strong First Day at #ITAFallNats

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Freshman Zoe Howard of the Princeton University women's tennis team had a strong opening day at the Oracle/ITA Fall National Championships held at the Newport Beach Tennis Club.
Despite losing the first set, she showed resilience to bounce back and earn the victory over Tatiana Simova of ASA College Miami with a score of 5-7, 6-0, 6-0.
Tomorrow at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET Howard will face No. 35 Georgia Drummy from Vanderbilt in the main draw round of 32.
