Women’s Tennis Opens Play at LSU Invite

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Princeton University women's tennis team opened play at the Louisiana State University Invite Friday, picking up a pair of wins in singles and pushing another two matches to three sets.
Daria Frayman defeated No. 11 Eden Richardson, 6-4, 6-3 and Clare Mckee picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Luba Vasilyuk.
Brianna Shvets battled valiantly against Safiya Carrington, but fell 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. No. 107 Stephanie Schrage suffered a similar fate as she took a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 loss to Anna Laughlan.

In doubles Princeton will take on Oklahoma University and in singles it will face Texas Christian University tomorrow.
