Princeton Has 10 Named To ACWPC All-Academic Team

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers had 10 players honored with the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Award, the organization announced.
The team was also one of 24 schools to post a GPA over 3.0. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete's head coach must be a member of the ACWPC, while the athlete must attain a grade point average in excess of 3.20. Divided into three teams based on cumulative grade point average (GPA), 111 athletes garnered Outstanding (4.00-3.71), 162 Superior (3.70-3.41) and 115 Excellent (3.40-3.20) recognition from 45 teams.
Players honored include Alec Mendelsohn (Outstanding), Casey Conrad (Superior), Mitchell Cooper (Superior), Ryan Melosini (Superior), Keller Maloney (Excellent), Davis Wachtell (Excellent), Miles Cole (Excellent), Miles Wilson (Excellent) Andy Paul (Excellent) and Michael Swart (Excellent).
Princeton went 19-11 in 2018 and won the Northeast Water Polo Conference title. The Tigers finished No. 13 in the final Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Poll after securing the program's sixth NCAA Tournament appearance.
