EYE ON THE TIGERS
The Tigers enter the final home weekend looking to gain some ground in the ECAC Hockey race as they currently are in 11th place with 11 points. The Tigers are seven out of eighth place but just three out of ninth. Four seniors lead the offense led by All-America Ryan Kuffner. He has a team-high 18 goals and 17 assists for 35 points. Fellow All-American Max Véronneau has 29 points on a team-best 21 assists and eight goals. Linemate Alex Riche also has eight goals and adds 11 assists. Defenseman Josh Teves chips in 19 points as well on three goals and 16 assists. Sophomore Ryan Ferland has started in 22 games in goal and has a .904 save percentage and a 3.11 goals against average. Senior Austin Shaw has made seven appearances this year and also has a .904 save percentage and a 2.97 GAA.
PRINCETON HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER
Princeton Hockey Fights Cancer night will be held on Saturday on Luke Rogers Family Fundraiser Night. Luke Rogers was "adopted" by the Tigers three years ago as part of Team Impact. A silent auction with autographed NHL memorabilia, chuck-a-puck and special guest appearances will all be taking place at Hobey Baker Rink.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
With an 11-7 ECAC Hockey record the Golden Knights are tied for fourth in the league standings. Overall Clarkson is 20-10 and ranked No. 13 in the latest national poll. A pair of juniors have 30+ points this season led by Nico Sturm who has 12 goals and 24 assists. Haralds Egle has 15 goals and 16 assists. Both Devin Brosseau and Jack Jermone have 20 points apiece. Junior Jake Kielly has started in all 30 games and has a 1.92 GAA and a .929 save percentage - seventh nationally in both categories.
THE PRINCETON/CLARKSON SERIES
Clarkson's 3-1 win on Feb. 2, snapped Princeton's four-game unbeaten streak in the series. The Tigers last win over Clarkson was in the ECAC Championship game last year. All-time the Golden Knights hold an 84-34-6 edge in the series.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS
St. Lawrence is in last place in the ECAC standings with six points on a 2-14-2 conference record. Overall the team is 4-24-2 on the season. Junior Carson Gicewicz leads the offense with 15 points on three goals and 12 assists. Freshman Zach Risteau follows with 13 points and freshman David Jankowski and sophomore defenseman Bo Hanson add 12 apiece. Freshman Emil Zetterquist has started in goal in the last four games and has an .891 save percentage and a 3.78 GAA. Senior Arthur Brey has the most starts with 12, while junior Daniel Manella earned the win over the Tigers three weeks ago.
THE PRINCETON/ST. LAWRENCE SERIES
St. Lawrence holds a 71-24-11 lead of Princeton in the all-time series and won the last meeting, a 3-2 game at Appleton on Feb. 1. Prior to that the Tigers had won the last three meetings including a 5-4 overtime win the last time here at Hobey Baker Rink.
