Ting Leads as Tigers Take Ninth in Florida

A pair of eagles highlighted the final day of competition for the Princeton men's golf team at Florida State's Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla., Sunday with Jack Roberts making the par-5 15th hole in three and Sam Clayman making the par-5 18th in three.
Princeton finished ninth as a team in the 14-team field with rookie Max Ting leading the way at -2, tied for 12th overall. Princeton carded its lowest round of the three-round tournament Sunday at +3, one stroke better than Saturday's first round
Wake Forest, Golfstat's fifth-ranked team in the nation, won the tournament by a stroke at -13 over host Florida State, and the Demon Deacons' Parker Gillam and Jacksonville's Thomas Thurloway tied for medalist honors at -8.
The Tigers will head to the Sunshine State again next month for their third consecutive tournament in Florida to start the spring season March 16-17 at George Mason's Mission Inn Spring Spectacular.
