Kolodzik, Monday Lead Cast Of 7 All-Ivy Honorees; Ayres Picks Up 3rd Coach Of The Year Award In 4 Years

Junior Matthew Kolodzik and freshman Quincy Monday led a charge of seven All-Ivy League honorees from the Princeton wrestling team, which placed second in the Ivy League for the fourth straight year and earned a program-best NWCA Coaches Rank of #19 to end the season.

Furthermore, head coach Chris Ayres shared Ivy League Head Coach of the Year honors with Cornell's Rob Koll. This is the third Coach of the Year award for Ayres over the last four Ivy League seasons, and he also earned EIWA Coach of the Year honors in 2017.

Both Kolodzik and Monday were unanimous selections to the All-Ivy League team after perfect league seasons; Monday was the only Princeton wrestler to post a perfect 5-0 record against Ivy competition, while Kolodzik was rested for two matches and went 3-0.

Patrick Brucki, Patrick Glory, Marshall Keller and Travis Stefanik earned second-team All-Ivy League honors, while Kevin Parker earned Ivy League honorable mention. Brucki and Glory's lone Ivy League losses came in the Cornell dual, and both avenged those last weekend to win their first EIWA Championships.

This is Kolodzik's third straight first-team All-Ivy League honor, while each of Princeton's four starting freshmen claimed either first- (Monday) or second-team (Glory, Keller, Stefanik) honors.
