Women's Golf Team Wraps Play in Augusta

Maya Walton led Princeton as the Tiger women's golf team wrapped up play at the Valspar Augusta Invitational Sunday at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
The Tigers finished 12th in the field of 12 teams after posting their best round of the weekend Sunday with a +16 over the final 18. Texas Tech won the tournament at -4, four strokes in front of Purdue. The Red Raiders' Sofia Garcia won medalist honors at -7, two strokes in front of runner-up Melati Putri of Purdue.
Walton carded +11 for the weekend, tying for 43rd overall. Princeton's results are below and complete results are available via Golfstat here.
The Tigers will have next weekend off from competition before heading to Orlando, Fla., for the Harvard Invitational March 30-31.
