Anabelle Chang Named SuburbanTransit/GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week

Anabelle Chang, who won her first tournament as a Tiger over the weekend in Florida, has been named the SuburbanTransit/GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week.

Chang, a sophomore, finished at -4, turning in a below-par card every round, to finish one stroke ahead of junior teammate Maya Walton and Penn's Christina Park. Chang's and Walton's performance helped lead the Tigers to a win in the event by 11 strokes over co-runners-up Penn and Harvard in a field that included six of the seven Ivy League programs. It was the second time in three years Princeton won the event, with the two wins coming on different courses. This time, the par-72 Crooked Cat course at Orange County National outside Orlando was the host.

Princeton turned in an 880 team score to set a program record for strokes in a three-round event, surpassing an 884 the team carded at an Old Dominion-hosted event on a par-70 course in the fall and an 889 the team scored at Penn State's tournament in the fall of 2017 on a par-72 course.
