Princeton Honors Seniors and Presents Team Awards at Banquet

The Princeton men's hockey team held its annual team banquet on Saturday to honor the Class of 2019 and present the team awards.
The Class of 2019: Ryan Kuffner, Spencer Kryczka, Austin Shaw, Alex Riche, Josh Teves and Max Véronneau were presented with replica Hobey Baker era jerseys from the Class of 1994 with a new tradition. Each year the Class celebrating its 25th anniversary will be challenged to present a unique gift to the senior class. Presented by President of the Princeton Hockey Association Troy Ewanchyna '94, he recognized classmate Miro Pasic '94 for this contribution to the gifts.

Six annual team awards were presented.
Ryan Kuffner was presented with the Richard E. Vaughan Cup for the second straight season. It is awarded to the varsity player who best exemplifies perseverance and dedication to Princeton Hockey. Max Véronneau was given the Blackwell Trophy for the third consecutive year, awarded to the member of the team who in play, sportsmanship and influence has contributed most to the sport.
The Hobey Baker Trophy, awarded annually to the team's freshman hockey player who, among his classmates, in play, sportsmanship and influence has contributed most to the sport has been handed out in each since 1950. This year's recipient is Corey Andonovski.
Neil Doef received the 1941 Championship Trophy. It is presented annually to that varsity player who best reflected the winning spirit of the 1941 championship team and in so doing was an inspiration to his teammates.
The Tucker Ironman Award, presented to the member of the team who best exemplifies the Ironman spirit through his off-season preparation, commitment to conditioning and overall physical endurance, was given to Derek Topatigh.

Captains for the 2018-19 season were announced to close the banquet. As voted on by the team Derek Topatigh will wear the "C" with Jackson Cressey and Liam Grande sporting the "A"
